Animal Language is a new imprint from lowlands trailblazers Mason. With release number 1 already under their belt (The Amsterdam Tape / Kippschwinger) that got support from Carl Cox, Nic Fanciulli and Mylo the foundations are set for the pairing of Iason and Coen to create a platform for more forward-thinking music. Front Row Chemistry is an analogue funker of a tune, coming on in almost Gallic fashion with a serious groove and a heavy dosage of melody. Its big, fat and warm with a bottom end to die for. This will appeal to fans of house music, Kitsune and strong cheeses… Capibara is a different animal all together. It’s a quirky piece of baroque house with its main sweeping melodic part being a pizzicatto violin riff played by Iason himself. The Refurb completes this package; a deconstructed pastiche in an alternative musical style which takes the original into Balkan territory with a gypsy violin re-interpretation. Very random, but brilliant!
