The 2nd release on Zouch really is a family affair, the original is from Heston (Zouch A&R) and on the remix it's the head of the label, Della Zouch. With their 2nd outing the label take on more of a traditional modern day deep house vibe, suitable for larger rooms as well as intimate clubs. Heston is definitely one to watch over the coming year, although this is a new alias he has been working in the dance music scene for over 8 years and has had many successes with other guises (including high charting tracks on the likes of Noir Music and Toolroom). Heston definitely brings out his darker deeper alter ego which works prefectly for Zouch. The original mix has a clean stabby lead bassline that drives the track alone with simple crisp drums and atmospheric pads that build throughout the track to give a lovely sense of warmth. Lets make one thing clear, the production qualities here are second to none. On the remix Della Zouch roughs the track up with some distortion, 808 drums and old skool chord lines whilst leaving out a fair chunk of the vocal. The result is an added sense of space and rawness whilst not straying to far from the original. Early support from... Ben Westbeech (Strictly Rhythm), Serverino (Horse Meat Disco), Hiem (Crosstown Rebels), Anderson Noise, The Micronauts , Mandy, Wally Lopez, Luciano, DiskJokke, Frankie Flowerz (Hypercolour/Crosstown Rebels), Felix Feygin (Chordashian), Crispin Dior, Brothers Vibe, Clive Henry, Disco Bloodbath, Elie Eidelman (Dirt Crew), Claudio Coccoluto, Marcus Sur, Da Sunlounge, Scott Lewis (Circus), Tim Anderson (Southern Fried), Raymundo Rodrigues and more
