Chris Hanna is back on board to release some more of his great music on Made Fresh Daily. After remixing on MFD003, you got a taster of what this Northern Irish young-gun can do. And he does nothing but step his game up on this release to prove what he can really do in the studio. 'The Cool' is kicked back deep house, for late night dance floors and dark rooms, the vocals are top notch and they speak truth over a punchy arrangement of drums and percussion, quality music all round. 'Freedom' is a bit more of a dramatic affair, with crisp stabs and deep vocal samples. With a rolling bassline that you cant help but groove to, 'Freedom' is a gem. 'Freedom' creates the perfect stems for a remix, so for good measure we got 2 of the best in the business to do just that. First off, we welcome JMX to MFD, with releases on labels like Tsuba, One Records & 2020 Vision, I highly doubt you havent heard the letters JMX around this year! As he already has Chris releasing on his own label Extended Play, he was more than happy to get involved and show what he can do in the remix department. As one half of the 'Jet Project' team and working as JMX in a solo act, he has had no lack of remix work, and it shines through in his 'Bossin' remix of 'Freedom'. Listen to find out, but really, this one cannot be overlooked. Next up, we asked Kid Mark to get on this release, and he had his remix back to the label within 24 hours of receiving the parts! Not a bad effort considering the quality of the remix he produced was A+, coupling that with the fact he, like JMX, also runs his own label 'Killax'. Kid Mark keeps true to his old school house-come-garage style, that he sticks to on his own production and showcases amazingly with a range of great artists from Alex Agore to Kezla on his own imprint.
