To kick off 2013, we welcome back James Trystan & Oli Cassidy - better known as Filth & Splendour. Back in 2009, the due delivered the enormous 'Divide' for Twisted and since then they have kicked on with tracks and remixes featured on an array of quality and established labels including Lot 49, Plastik Park, Armada, Baroque, CR2, Bonzai, Born To Dance and many others. Nearly 4 years on, the boys have cooked up something unique and special once again. Built up from an overdriven guitar riff, Darkness Fades is dark, tough and moody techno. First up on remix duties - on of Germany's finest Frank Beckers again returns to Twisted with his second remix for the label following on from his remix of Dan Marshall's "Plus One" in 2010. Frank's sound has deepened a little since then and he cooks up a piece of fresh tech house with depth and groove - and a touch of portamento. James Harcourt delivers his first remix of 2013, taking the track into driving big-room territory and adding haunting vocal fragments to deepen the mood. There are two versions in the promotion-only package, a deeper version without a main part and a more stripped down, yet deep & driving version.
