Sasha Carassi is back on his Phobiq imprint with the "Fiberboard" EP! With synths sounding like liquid tension, the original mix is a journey through tough beats and frantic electronics. The mighty Slam are in charge of the first remix and they take the dark and dirty route, stripping the original down and adding some bleakness of their own, only to surprise us with an old school-sounding breakdown. The Acid mix is slightly more rolling, featuring snappy drums and pulsating percussion, which takes us to the fourth track of the EP; closing up is Tom Laws, who has been making his own unmistakable noise as of late. Utilizing simple, yet solid drums he offers us a clearer picture of the tense synths while maintaining the vibe of the original.
