GARY BECK FEEL IT With the last two releases on BEK Audio involving the champion sounds of Mark Broom, Mr. G, Speedy J and Edit Select, this time full attention is paid to Gary himself. The EP shows three different flavours from a man known for his varying style but consistent quality. Feel It leads with swinging bass, fading percussion and looping vocal in the archetypal Beck manner. The track swells throughout and has been a cornerstone of recent Gary Beck DJ sets. Paid Out heads towards a groovier sound, but still retains the tension of Feel It. Perfect for the stand-out and reflective moment in heavier DJ sets. Hillview is a different beast. A dark, deep and hypnotic track smoulders in the whispering vocals and pulsing tones while sub bass and a thudding kick drum maintain the rhythm.
