Another excellent outing from the mighty Bushwacka! for Olmeto 17. The original mix kicks in with a warm driving bassline topped by a wonderfully curious array of sounds; for those of us with over-vivid imaginations, you can almost picture Bushwacka! building a spaceship in his back garden whilst writing this track. Never one to get too far into minimal territory, however, later on a warm shimmering synth-driven melody kicks in and an organic tribal-esque bassline picks up the energy. The Drum mix is smoother and simpler, placing more emphasis on the melody and stripping back some of the eerie sounds that dominate the first half of the original mix. Whichever version floats your boat, this is a powerful mid-set track to get lost in.
