UK producer Marsh last appeared on Arrival with his acclaimed remix of
Louder Dale's "Varadero". Arrival is proud to welcome back this tremendous
talent, with its 38th release: Marsh's EP "Ethereal", consisting of 3
tracks.
The title cut begins with a rather soothing atmosphere, as well as crispy
percussion elements. Soon, a groovy bassline emerges, supported by
intriguing sound effects and floating pad layers. In the break, an
inspiring rhodes synth is added, which harmonises beautifully with the
backing atmosphere.
"Sleeping Now" introduces a hypnotizing soundscape, with numerous sound
effects, female vocal stems, and comforting pad layers. A unique 3/4 rhythm
is established, which goes extremely well with the vast array of synth
elements, such as the tiny piano melody and the background arpeggio line.
The last track of this EP is "Waiting For The Mail Man". A firm beat
introduces this song, while captivating vocal stabs are floating in the
background. Frisky percussion lines unite with the fairly groovy bassline
and supporting synth elements. Smooth pad layers emerge in the break, and
later, a constantly changing theme riff is added
