For our first release of 2012 we have a selection of two tracks from our recently discovered talent, pothOles. The Finnish deep-funk phenomenon has turned up with a two tracker for all tastes. First up we have Poka a jacking chicago influenced deep house number with lots of twists and turns and a huge bass hook. On remix duties we have Hot Creations artist and Dogmatik Records honcho Alex Arnout who turned the track into a sleazy, twisted, dark and druggy affair aimed straight for the big room, heads down club floors. Warthog, the 2nd track of the ep is a slowed down and blissful grower, perfect for any sunset or back-to-mine session. Lush pads, spaced out analogue leads on top of a firm and steady groove to keep you moving along. Accompanying the original mix we put the track in hands of Dana Bergquist & Peder G who turned it into a bass heavy and 80s funk fused take while still retaining the original vibe.
