As far as years go, 2012 has been 'the one' for James Silk. Since his debut release early in 2010 on Kote Records, James has made a steady impact on the scene with his love of all things House and Disco. With the industry recognising and rewarding James' talents, this year has seen him release (or have planned releases) with the likes of Defected, Exploited, Lo:Rise, Nurvous NYC, Resonance Records, Feast Recordings, Endemic Digital, Unrivaled Music and many more, as well as signing up with Kumasi Music agency - needless to say, we are delighted to have James returning once again to Form and Function.
Here with the 'Downside EP' are two new Deep House tracks (Downside and What You Waiting For), as well as accompanying a Nu-Disco radio edit and a more Housier tip in the Eivissa edit of James debut release on the imprint, Turning Over.
If you've not already been accustomed to James' tunes, here's another chance to find out what's had the likes of Maceo Plex, Jozif, Agoria, Mark Knight, Seth Troxler, Waifs and Strays supporting so far ...... enjoy!
