"And death shall have no dominion…" This is the permeated truth of Vector Burn's slow churned Metal DnB masterwork. Some 2 years in the making, "Dominion" encompasses the both the glistening heart of metal and the chromed Skelton of DnB in one amazingly detailed soundscape. Vector Burn's original mix straddles the uncomfortable barrier of dancefloor DnB sensibility and underground black room new-metal angst. Writhing with waves of melancholy, backed up by breakbeat's classic drum sample underpinnings and seething with VB signature basslines, Dominion completely smashes unsuspecting ears and minds! Then once the original mix has had it's way with you, Never Mirror comes across with a re-interpretation so completely fresh and deviously concocted that you might find yourself questioning the very essence of what "remix" means. The "Through the Never Mirror" mix plunges to trench like depth and aural complexity. Taking each element of DnB, Metal and Emotional Melancholy that made VB's original Dominion so distinct; Never Mirror twists the concepts "remix" and turns out a composition that's unlike ANYTHING you've heard before. And then at the line where most projects end, CLRH2O steps in to round out the package with a VIP of Never Mirror's opus-like re-interpretation. Condensing the complexity of Dominion's previous mixes into a dancefloor tuned stormer with even more meticulously chiseled darkness. These are songs for the duration, and proof that true artistry will always come from the underground.
