Brisbane's Loops of Fury smashed the Beatport charts with the originals of 'Rack 'Em' and 'Pump Up' this summer, with the former enjoying 6 weeks unbroken in the Top 30. When Sacha dropped this at Creamfields the place went ballistic, and likewise when Crystal Method played it at Burning Man last weekend a near riot broke out. Now it's time for the remixes, and we have a grinding package of pure class to shove in yer bungholes. First up is General Zod (as ZODIAC CARTEL is sometimes referred to) who ups the jack-a-wobble factor with a middle eight so savage & unexpected, moshpits have been known to break out. MAELSTROM's re-working is equally tough - a peaktime electro-houser reminiscent of his peerless Lee Coombs remix for Lot 49. We stay on the other side of La Manche for the third remix, from superstar-in-the-making BAMBOUNOU who develops the tech-house flavourings into a compulsive slew of beeps & beats. Last but by no means least, and bringing home the breaks baton is none of than VANDAL, who grabs 'Pump Up' by the nutsack and drives it home to anthemic effect.
