With the Masters At Work name under contract elsewhere, Kenny and Louie had little choice but to work under other names. Hardrive became the most popular, largely thanks to the iconic ‘Deep Inside’, a vocal hook and bass line stomper that helped launch the record its vocal had come from, Barbara Tucker’s ‘Beautiful People’. The rest of the EP, which features Kenny’s disco loop groove ‘Jus’ Believe’ and a joint effort with Chicago’s Maurice Joshua, ain’t too shabby either.
