We are more than a little excited, to welcome the mighty Ticon to baroque.. for our first audio outing in 2012! The lead track here , Costa Rica moves off with shuffling beats and a cool house with a touch of electro bassline, sparkling pads and soundshots work their magic, while clever use of percussion keep the arrangement interesting. sliding pads and whirly soundscapes add atmosphere.. and bouncy drums add some beef after the break! Nefertiti is a deeper brooding builder.. full of snappy snakey shakes and deep drums.. a wirey synth builds amidst slithers of tuned bass, before a bright bubbly popping synth line sneaks its way into the groove. All building to a crescendo, in a dark moody way.. perfect stuff!!
