Nuage closes the year with a bang on Translation Recordings, delivering an EP of collaborations and remixes that showcase his musicality in the 170bpm spectrum. Up first, he teams with Eastcolors to deliver 'Live in Lie,' a lush and melodic roller where twinkling piano keys, warm rhodes chords, and glitched-out vocals are juxtaposed with a low-growling bass that adds grit and edge to the arrangement. The flip features Anile's deep, entrancing remix of Nuage & THRN's 'Don't Exist,' where the melody of the original floats over punchy drums and deep, pulsing sub frequencies guaranteed to rattle your chest on the dancefloor. Both tunes will be pressed on special edition red vinyl and the digital release will include two additional collaborations. One with Gerwin entitled 'Lazy Summer' that seamlessly blends elements of soul, jazz, and r&b to create a warm and reminiscent vibe; and another with N4M3 entitled 'Sunday Morning,' where a dazzling chiptune-inspired chord sequence and beautifully layered synths ebb and flow over Nuage's signature percussive groove, delivering the grand finale to a spectacular, breakout year!
