Angel Rusu aka Blanilla has been DJ-ing and producing breakbeat, Drum & Bass and other flavours of Bass music for about a decade. Originating from Transylvania- Romania, Blanilla has been a mainstay at all the major festivals in the country, supporting the likes of Froove Armada, General Midi, Aquasky, Jay Cunning, James Lavelle, 2 many Djs and Sven Vath thanks to his dynamic, well built DJ sets and floor-centric productions. Blanilla has delivered two highly considered dance floor cuts that exude his penchant for catchy, danceable records, both in the studio and behind the decks. 'Burning Soul' is a hefty breaks track perfect for those early evening sets when the sun's going down and the crowd are getting ready to party. 'Spread The Breaks' kicks off with a a huge wobbly bassline and a 'spread out and scatter' sample ala DJ Slam, then drops into a glitched out Dubstep breakdown. Perfect festival weaponry! Currently, Blanilla lives in Bucharest working as a radio Dj and producing track after track in his home studio. He collaborates with labels like Sound Of Habib, VIM Breaks and now, Play Records.
