Next up on Crystal Source is SlaviX with his Breathtaking EP. First up is the title track, Breathtaking. Perhaps more progressively focussed than his previous releases, Breathtaking revolves around a chunky groove with intermittent stabby and arpeggio type riffs. The flip side to the release is The Life Outside. Again, slightly less euphoric than his usual releases, SlaviX has worked in a monster of a bassline into this track, surrounded by cheeky vocal chops and a spectacular breakdown. No release on Crystal Source would be complete without an out and out uplifting trance track, and this EP is no different. SlaviX has also produced a Lifted mix of The Life Outside. Harmonious piano lines, another massive bassline, big pads and a gorgeous lead all come together to make a great piece of trance.
