The Debut EP from Seattle's Bleed, following up his tune "Swan Song" on Shift's "Seattle Selections", this release spotlights Bleeds attention to sharp, precise percussion and absolute Gut-wrenching basslines.
Kicking things off is "Torture", a futuristic chunky roller, with tons of edits and fancy drum work keeping it lively and ever changing. Holding no punches, Bleed drops "Haymaker" as track 2. Beginning with an unassuming intro, this one leaves you on your back when it drops. Absolutely relentless, this ones sure to leave any dancefloor clenching their jaws when this monster blazes into the drop.
Showing off the deeper, darker side of things is track 3, "I Like That". Chilled chords, spatially explorative edits and a sexy, haunting vocal sample top off this well-done glitchy subwoofer destroyer. Track 4, "Mr. Bill Collector" keeps the dubby chilled rhythm going, but still delivering the same intense vibe that is consistent throughout any of Bleed's tunes. "Big Bang Theory" follows up with its twisted, crushed melody building up to a downright nasty bassline where Bleed flexes the future funk through the gutter and back again. Finishing off the "Bleed EP" is "Decompose", an eerie smasher with Bleeds signature glitched-out percussion and razor-sharp drum work. Tons of change ups, growling bass and sci fi moods keep the dance lively.
