Geno presents it's first record from label head, Aaron Hedges. Aaron has been very busy dj'ing in Berlin's best venues: Katerholzig, Prince Charles, Arena/Badeschiff, and his bi-monthly residency at Klangsucht's "Gegenkultur" party. When Aaron is not playing, he's been locked away in his studio working on a full length album and numerous forth coming vinyl/club oriented EP's. The title track, Blasta is a sleek and modern tech house stormer. Blasta contains well blended and diverse influences, such as African Jazz, Jamaican dub, and German and French house. It's this unique and normally disparate genre's of music and production styles that makes Blasta a unique gem. The B Side, Collapsed Caldera, is a break beat oriented, organic house song. Guitar, harp, and vocals gently guide over complex yet natural percussive rhythms.
