His releases on Meerstief and Micro.fon have been big at our gigs for some time and are firm favourites with Audiofly and other DJs on the label. Production skills and attention to detail are what makes Alex stand out from the crowd and ’Can I get......?’ for one is absolute proof of that. Its relentless groove keeps building and building to such a crescendo that it will surely make any dancefloor ignite. A grade A* floor filler if ever we heard one. Hot stuff Mathias Meyer is on remix duty here and the result is further proof of his great talents. These Germans know a thing or two that’s for sure. ‘Black Rose’ is the real Gem of the EP. It comes over deep but without forgetting how to raise the temperature when played at the right time, many jocks have already commented on the stunning beauty of it. London girl duo Amelie bring their interpretation in a trackier and chuggier direction (digital only).
