Redhead's sonic artillery comes in the form of the "Black Mornings" EP and, it couldn't be more aptly titled. The title track gives off a strong sonar vibe with otherworldly percussion keeping everything in perfect motion. Tense synths and a stomping rhythm section complete the post-apocalyptic picture.Snello's rendition employs yet more bleak atmospherics with a more bass-heavy approach. A rattling high end and a dissonant version of the original's synths make it all come together.Closing up with "Try It", we are treated to a more rolling vibe while a dubby vocal sample echoes in the distance. Persistent chord stabs pound upon us as they transform into a maelstrom and let all hell break loose.
