V/A - Bedroom Players Vol. 1 After three consecutive vinyl releases, Quantized Music, gives us a digital-only release after a long time. What we get here is the first part of a brand-new series, collecting tracks from different artists. The first hit comes with four tracks ranging from house to techno, demonstrating once again the modern, up to date and fresh sound of the label. First on the list is Get Fyzzical from Jaffa Surfa hailing from Hungary. The 27-year-old makes a good noise around his name lately with releases on labels like Off and Bosconi. Here, goes housey with a modern cut full of funky rhythms. And when the melodic break ends all you do is dance and go deeep! Next track is taken from the forthcoming double cd compilation which will be released soon from Quantized Music in co-operation with legendary Loop Bar in Athens. Fog has released records in labels such as Resopal and Noir to name a few. For this collection gives us La Luna, a melodic and rolling tech house number with some funny, swingy chopped-up vocal samples, tribal aesthetics and deep elements here and there. Simone Godenzis Being is a 9-minute-long groovy monster with uplifting melodies and a funky pulsating bass leading the way plus the trademark old school vocals. Good vibrations from Italy! Last and definitely not least are 12 Tones with Kouros. The Greek duo of Spiros Kordas and John Kougianos delivers here a dark, minimal techno / house groover.
