Shimmying its way through tunnels of bass and synth, Boaz Tcherikover's second release for Jyre Records is digging in the dirt with an epic combination of analog and digital elements. Driving kicks build to an epic release, as electric-psychedelic waves of sound chase the spoken-word sample - your tour guide to a formidable buildup and near-peak burner for the winter.
On the B, Twice as Proper guru Craft knows how to make them shaken not stirred - utilizing his arsenal of reverb-driven tools to create a nearly ten-minute long masterpiece. While retaining many of the primary elements from the A-side, Craft adds a more minimal/tech edge to the proceedings, an incredibly clean use of highs offset by a pounding beat and head-bopping groove. Boaz shows us how the ants play, while Craft shows us how they work.
