Now this is how the common denominator by Animal Trainer and Round Table Knights looks like. Both combos don´t only share the same sound agenda, but also get along pretty well with each other beyond club- and studiowise levels. With the Bern-based Club Bonsoir (Round Table Knights) and Hive Club in Zurich (Animal Trainer) they also each call a strong platform their own, on which they can let their inspiration run free, down to their whim.
The rest of the clubbing world has fallen for them likewise, bringing them loads of sold-out gigs and desirable signings at Stil Vor Talent (Animal Trainer) and Made To Play (Round Table Knights) across the Swiss border.
With such weighty common grounds it was merely a short jump to a conspirative-cooperative studio session - on Animal Knights, the first and long overdue co-production by these collectives, with Pique and Kalmuck you will find two tracks that accumulate, reflect and put in a nutshell what represents the steep career of Animal Trainer and Round Table Knights up to the present: fun to play, being keen on experiments and an unquestioning devotion for the dancefloor.
Pique on the A-Side is pure dancefloor-kerosine and an archetypal peaktime-hit. The elegiac Kalmuck on the flip takes it from a rather gentle approach and is impressed by a catchy melody followed by guitar and singing passages. Both tracks share the same amount of Animal Trainer and Round Table Knights styles without any doubt.
