Jevne, head don of Onethirty Recordings, has resurfaced to drop a new four track EP on his home turf. The highly anticipated AFS EP truly captures Jevne's driving, club-ready, deep house sound. From the rolling thick grooves in "AFS", to the tech-house smoothness of "Jet Sent", the peak-time rhythmic drive of "Lost In Quito," to the triply downtempo vibes of "Lucid Number Five," this collection is an adventurous ride for DJs and dancefloors alike. For the past seventeen years Jevne has been mixing records, often accompanied live by his own six string bass guitar, an addition that has really set him apart from the crowd. Finding his love for dance music back in the late 80's while attending rave events in Minneapolis, Jevne's passion for music led him to pick up DJ'ing in Colorado around 1993. After relocating back to Minneapolis in '98 he became the buyer and manager of Let it Be Records, a highly respected shop frequented by many top DJs. Jevne went on to be involved with some of the largest events to happen in Minneapolis from the rave days to present Onethirty events around the world. In the past seven years Jevne has brought his DJ bag and bass guitar to destinations within South America, Europe, Switzerland, and Canada in addition to covering ground all over the USA. Jevne's original productions and remixes have appeared on many respected labels including Jay-J's Shifted Music, Johnny Fiasco's Klassik Fiasco, Urban Torque, Eighth Dimension, and Chillin Music. His tracks have been remixed by the likes of Chuck Love, Fred Everything, Asad Rizvi, and Justin Martin. The AFS EP will be followed up later this year with remixes of "Jet Sent." The release will include remixes from Onethirty artists Onur Ozman, Metodi Hristov, Oscar P & Davidson Ospina, Moilanen, and Magnus Wedberg (AKA Tourist).
