Kid Handsome returns with Aciitone's first release of the new year. A solid slab of tribal tech, the package features two blinding remixes from some of Ireland's brightest - Jet Project and Matador. The original mix has a nearly progressive feel to it, with a throbbing leading bassline setting the tone throughout, it's complimented by tight percussion that creates a solid, slightly dark groove. The Tribal and almost voodoo like chant leads the breaks until perfectly timed twists in the bass make for killer big room drops. The first of our big name remixes comes in from leading production duo Jet Project, a perfect choice on this package they once again do themselves proud with a percussive tech house groover. It's a far more playful take on the original that fuses loose house percussion, deeper pads and rounded bass hits. With just enough of the original vox given the Jet Project treatment, the overall result is very current slice of tech house bliss. The second mix comes in from Aciitone's own and rising global Techno star Matador. His take falls somewhat in the middle of techno and tech house, another playful take on the original vocals and fantastic use of the original bassline creates great energy. As always his signature percussion style is super tight and arrangement throughout is spot on, perfectly timed breaks and drops will no doubt be a hit on the global dancefloor!
