"The Acid Moves project is an interpretation of mine of the early Acid House trax by Phuture, Adonis, Josh Wink etc. 10 years ago I bought one of the first TB-303 clones (it's name is Bassline) from a German company called Acid Lab. It was just a toy for me at the beginning and it sounds different than the original 303 but also very good I think. Quite often when you buy a new piece of gear you try something out and when it doesn't work well you put it aside and ignore it and that kind of happened with the Acid Lab Bassline - it was just standing there all the time and every now and then I programmed funny acid lines and didn't record them. Finally after a long time I was working on a Tech-House track and found that these Acid lines could fit. The outcome was Acid Moves! 1985 is a re-edit from one of my early productions from 2002 so it's quite old and includes some early field-recording sounds which I used when I was producing Minimal Techno. Some times a track needs to sit on the hard drive for 10 years before it's hatched!"
