Switzerlands !Organism imprint kick starts the new year with a sterling new single from Italian producer Frankyeffe backed with a remix from the excellent Ant Prescott ..
Lausanne based !Organism had a superb year in 2012 releasing music from some of the most exciting names in techno. Now a new year is upon us and it seems that label boss Yan Stricker is determined to up the pace further with no less than 15 singles scheduled for 2013 featuring some of the most in-demand producers around. To kick start things, !Organism has turned to Romes Frankyeffe for the first single of the year. Frankyeffe has been one of the most exciting and prolific artists over the last few years, releasing music through labels such as Mark Antonios Analytic trail, Adam Beyers Truesoul and Mauro Picottos Alchemy imprint, out of the studio he held a 3 year residency at Romes highly influential Rashomon Club and has taken his DJ sound on the road with continues tours.
The "Accelerate" single opens up with the title track, a rolling slice of deep techno that fuses edgy saw tooth soundwaves with taut percussion and deep bass to provide an intense floorfiller with a dark atmosphere. The original version is backed up with a remix from Ant Prescott an artist who has been a part of UK dance scene since the nineties, promoting nights such as Technical Audio Beats and Euphonic and recordings under the alternative moniker Tony Montana. His remix of "Accelerate" strips things back to the bare bones, delivering a version that is spacious and emotive with sweeping FX and an insistent brooding groove, quality stuff. The package is completed with Frankyeffes "Like" an epic eight and a half minute techno workout that journeys into harder and faster territory for a brilliant closing opus.
If you are a fan of techno then the !Organism imprint is not to be ignored in 2013 and this single leads the way in what should be a very exciting twelve months, enjoy.
