In 2001 Wilson Santos wrote the lyrics THE DJ THE MUSIC AND ME for LULA to Record them. In 2009 after having done so many successful records as a vocalist himself he decided to do a new recording of his own lyrics of THE DJ THE MUSIC AND ME but after recording the vocals he felt LULA was missing! So he asked LULA if she wanted to do a duet. LULA loved the idea and said yes and told him to contact KULT Records to make it happen. "I want to re do this song with Wilson... make it happen please" Said Lula to KULT. What the queen wants the queen gets! So acapellas were handed over to Eddie Cumana who was the creator of LULA vs ALAN T and thus the right man to handle a collaborative acapella. "It was hard Eddie says; because of the way Lula delivers her lines straight forward and Wilson swings like a preacher but it worked out somehow". The original mix is a deep slice of afterhour progressive rhythms filled with vocal delays and call backs to trip out the track that builds with a steady crescendo of layers.
