We are delighted to welcome David Amo and Julio Navas on to Toolroom Trax for their debut release We Are One EP, and what a release it is! This innovative duo are regulars at events such as Creamfields and Sunrise Festival, as well as being able to boast a discography that oozes quality on imprints such as Armada, Ministry Of Sound and EMI. First up, Raw is the perfect example of this duos creative talents alongside Gustavo Bravetti. Smart beats and a pulsing bass sway beneath some sweet synth work and crackling percussion. The breakdown unleashes a pitched up percussive hit that bounces its way towards a build full of quality tricks before a monstrous drop. With support from Fedde le Grand on his recent Toolroom Knights mix and Mark Knight, this is a tech-house track that's gonna be rocking the dance-floors for a long time. On remix duties we have the talented Workidz and Randall. Their take on Raw is a pumping rendition full of energetic beats and crafty techniques that takes the original sample and warps it into an organised mash-up of chaotic proportions. Wrapping up the EP is Bama, a techy workout with a smooth groove, sizzling hats and aggressive stabs that mean business and is guaranteed to push even the biggest sound system to its limits.
