At the age of 11 Tony Papadopoulos (later to become known as Tone Depth) found himself in a peculiar situation. He was walking down the street with a friend when he suddenly fell down a hole and found himself hanging off a metal spike like a human shish kebab, his feet dangling in thin air. The spike went directly up his ass and made a mess of his insides. After 2 months in the hospital, Tone fully recovered and was thankful to be alive. When asked by his parents afterwards what he wanted to do with his life he said, “I want to learn how to play guitar and make music!”. 12 years later a chance sighting of Paul Oakenfold at a Miami Airport allowed Tone to pass along a demo, kicking off what can already be described as an illustrious career. His productions have been signed to labels run by the worlds top international DJ’s (Tiesto, Paul Oakenfold, Armin Van Burren, Deep Dish, John Digweed, Anthony Attalla to name a few…) and he’s been behind classic remixes like Armin Van Burren “Who Is Watching” ft. Nadia Ali while also producing classic hits such as "Rumblefish" on John Digweeds Bedrock imprint. Tone Depth’s productions have also featured on numerous world renowned compilations such as Global Underground, Bedrock, Renaissance, Perfecto, Incorrect etc…. His tracks and remixes continue to be supported by the worlds top DJ’s while his relentless output of top quality productions hitting the charts has made everyone familiar with his sound. Tone's collaboration efforts in the studio have seen him work with the likes of Lionel Ritchie, Sultan, Haig V, and countless others.....
