Bio:

Tigermaan – is a Polish artist who works on the electronic scene. Involved in music since 1991. His nickname is derived from the Chinese zodiac sign from which he his. Started his career in a rap scene and formed the group called Trials X. By the debut album became probably the most important pioneer in a history of Polish rap culture in the mid 90’ies. Now classified as one of the best hip hop classics. In 1999 together with MODFUNK duo he went into dance scene and have already made a huge impact on the dance music, with numerous singles and remixes to their name. First album was released in 2002 and contained elements of classic house, funk, r&b and jazz and was hailed as one of the most important debut albums on the Polish club scene. MODFUNK has since produced a number of other club tracks for a range of independent and major labels including Machine Gun Ibiza Records [London], Help Yourself [France] and Sony BMG [Poland]. Each 12” single had a surprising rating in DJMAG: 4 points out 5 and good international feedback. Since 2005 to 2010 Tigermaan was a co-owner and A&R in a Warsaw based label SEEK Records. Under this label he was releasing his work with Modfunk, Tigermaan and Autor-X. His second LP called "Emofunk" released in 2008 together with Modfunk features guest appearance by Philippe Zdar from the French super-group CASSIUS and John Webb from the U.S. formation Love Meets Lust. The video for the hit single SHOWTIME was directed by the talented Swiss graphic designer named YEHTEH. Year 2010 was a beginning of his own label - PROJECTION and the Fast Muzik Booking agency for the further development of musical talents: artists, producers and DJ’s from around the world. Along with music Tigermaan promotes arts of photography, 3D animations and other digital forms.
