After many years spent listening to music, mainly electronic music, the Guatemalan brothers César & Nefy Xicara Guzman decided that they wanted to start mixing music instead of just listening to it. They began their careers by playing in local clubs and private parties, and were able to start experimenting with different electronic genres since then. In 2009, they found their true passion was for creating their own music. They joined forces in a project called Tektonauts. They've attracted the attention of many DJs and producers from around the world thanks to their groovy style. They're known for tech house, tribal, minimal, and techno sounds that promise to fill every dancefloor. Tektonauts are regulars at all of Guatemala's hotspots and are currently working on many original tracks and remixes, expecting further growth in the electronic scene.
