Leonardo GloVibes ( Abbate ) has multi-faceted skills as both a DJ and producer has earned from an alost 20 years experience .Grown up in Italy, lived in london, and based in Los Angeles ( CA ) he started his dj carreer at the age of 14 and at 16 he was already playing in some of the most important italuan clubs and radios.About 10 years ago he decided to try to make some music on his own and after a couple of good tracks he has been asked to remix the legendary Robert Owens.. and it rocked!!!!His sound is forward moving and progressive with a vintage feel. This amalgamation of sounds can be attributed to Leonardo's deep understanding of both vintage and modern tools used in his production as well as from a hybrid of Influences inlcuded : styles between old soulful house , Nu- disco , deep and tech house In the days of technology-made-easy creating a new breed of home-schooled producers, it's a rarity to find someone with experience in both 'old school' analog methods as well as having a mastery of latest digital production tools.So spot on are his skills, that many of his releases can be found in the charts and record bags of some of the world's top DJs More notably, in his releases : Cod Liver Oil ( Godeeva rec ) , also remixed and launched by Wally Lopez, Troya Noir Music, Midnight Magic with the featuring of Angie Brown on Peppermint Jam, and Sikk My Washing Machine Leonardo has also collaborated with vocalists such, Wendy Lewis, and Kaya (Boney M), India ( Nu-yorican soul , MAW records) : Kosanost feat India : Si te digo no and Holly Johnson ( the legendary voice of Frankie goes to Hollywood ).As a DJ, has been resident dj of some of the most important clubs in Italy, then in London : Ministry Of Sound / The Egg , just to name a few, now Leonardo is based in LA but u can here is sets all over the world.For the past 3 years Leonardo has received the prizes ( bronze, silver and gold ) for the Boyz UK clubs magazine music awards as best dj.
