Gulivert's sultry spin on house music is in high demand, raising him from promising to prominent in just a few short years. With DJ residencies for Parisian clubs The Cirque Bonheur and Cirque Paradis, and hit-maker status with Catwash Records and Intacto already in his rear view, 2013 promises to be Gulivert's biggest year yet.As a young music lover living in the easternmost corner of France, Strasbourg, Gulivert compiled volumes of Eurodance, acid house and Detroit techno, diligently recorded from the German radio frequencies. He turned on to club culture at the age of fifteen after a life-changing night at Achern's Jailhouse Club, and the obsession truly began: turntables and records, records and digging, chopping samples in Soundforge and making beats on Reason and Fruity Loops. After a number of years honing his skills on his local DJ circuit, and with bookings spreading throughout Germany and Switzerland, Gulivert sought out a new challenge, starting from scratch as an unknown entity in the capital, Paris. His acclaimed sets at The French Kitchen's Cocobeach parties, but also in most of the best clubs of the capital (Wonderlust, Elysée Montmartre, Bataclan, Rouge Pigalle but also Grand Palais & Palais de Tokyo...) soon changed that, as did his breakthrough track "Change" for DJ W!LD's Catwash Records in 2011.Alongside securing DJ residencies in Paris, Gulivert began spreading the gospel of good music with shows at some of the most renowned clubs in Barcelona, Calvi, Turin, Frankfurt, London and Ibiza.Gulivert has almost a dozen EPs to his name, for labels such as 22 Digit Records and Cream Couture, acclaimed collaborations and remixes with artists like Boris Werner and Philip Ort, and close associations with fellow French house luminaries Gauthier DM, DJ W!LD, Chris Carrier and Phil Weeks. With much more to come from Gulivert on Movements Label, Catwash Records and Homecoming Music, this hotly-tipped talent is poised to break out of the Parisian underground, and take his talents behind the decks and in the studio to the international stage.
