Born in Portugal in 1978 Goncalo M started his DJ career at the early age of 19 after being strongly influenced by electronic music. Since then Goncalo has built up an admirable reputation after playing in venues all over Europe.His sets have been described as electric and energetic, his style is dynamic, full of percussion and he keeps things very groovy and hard. Watch him play and you’ll see he applies all his passion for music, from the first moment he steps behind the decks right through to the end. In 2002 he started his career in production after seeing 4 of his tracks released on a compilation CD included with Portuguese Dance Magazine ‘Dance Club’. Recently Goncalo has had releases on the world’s premier techno labels like Yin Yang, Work Hard Play Hard and SUB CULT. Driven to put more into the techno scene Goncalo teamed up with Huma-Noyd and started their techno label ‘Intuition Recordings’. Intuition Recordings has held top spots in the techno charts and sees artists like A Paul, Wyrus and DJ Cristiao releasing quality techno music.
