Gigi D’Amico was born in Sicily, of a Spanish mother and an Italian father. As a teenager, he became involved in music and started working in radio then into dj’ing in clubs. He later moved on to play with bands and working as a sound engineer, studying at Centro Professione Musica whilst working as a sound engineer, and touring in support of international artists including Tom Harrel, Tonino Horta, Rickie Lee Jones, Gloria Gaynor, Temptations, Cool & the Gang, Blonde Redhead, Warmers, and Uzeda. However, fashion has always been a big passion of his and the research of style in the second-hand vintage markets. Gigi has spent his life styling himself as the person he wants to be.
