Deficit

Deficit aka Matt Deficit is an electronic musician and producer. Co-founder of the Locked Soundsystem and founder of Epoch Records Deficit is widely respected for his interpretation of electronic dance music through the fusion of experimental, modern and the traditional elements of underground electronic music. Deficit has been actively involved in the underground music scene since 2001. Starting out with a brief stint as front man for a punk band his subsequent years were primarily dominated by the UK Hip Hop and DNB scenes. 2008 saw the birth of the Locked Soundsystem, the explosion of the ‘dubstep’ phenomenon and the re-ignition of Deficit’s interest in music production. 2012 sees Deficit’s debut release on his new independent label Epoch Records. Expect futuristic techno / house / garage infused rave music.
