Born in Lisbon in 1980, DarkateK (Nuno Barreto) has been making music since the early 90’s and finishing tracks since early 00’s. Has releases on Naked Lunch, T1, Ovelha Trax and Elberec, and a few releases coming out soon. His style is as broad as his mind and covers from beat-less and ambient soundscapes to Industrial Techno, Acid and everything in between. Has lived in Brighton (UK) between 2004 and 2013, where he DJ’ed, as well as a bit allover England. He has also DJ’ed in Brazil, Cannary Islands and Ibiza, to name a few. Recently, DarkateK has been focusing on his live act and touring it around his loved hometown.
