From playing records for friends' parties at a very youngage to some of Miami’s most premier nightclubs, Chris isdefinitely not the new kid on the block of music. Formerlyknown as S1, this young talent has been breakingboundaries of sound for quite some time now, with radioshows, television performances and guest appearancesalready under his belt. Shortly after his move to the BigApple, Chris discovered an array of musical influencesamong New York City's nightlife as well as a renewedappreciation for Electronic Dance music.After the release of his first single "Up Down" with MusicZ one Records, Chris' trademark sound catapulted him to thenext level of his career. With his unique blend of tribal techinfusedsounds, progressive and electro house beats andpure, raw energy, Chris went on to produce and remix for amultitude of European house labels including Purple GateRecords and Clubstream Label Group. Besides countlessreleases on Beatport and iTunes, Chris has also beenfeatured on "T he Kids Want Tech House 2" double-disccompilation and created his own for Clubstream.Inspired by the YouTube sensation, “Sh*t Miami Girls Say...and Guys,” Chris Valencia adopted this concept and createdanother dance floor smash, with an infectious chorus linethat we would all grow to love, “I can not deal with that TikiTiki Music.” Supported by numerous local DJs, it wouldn’ttake long for one of the biggest names in the Miami Housemusic scene to take notice. DJ and producer Armand Pena,founder of T he Rhythm Freak Records, signed “Sh*t MiamiGirls Say” to his label and selected it as one of the tracksfor his signature Welcome 2 Miami Compilation series.Having moved back to Miami in 2012, the talented DJ andproducer joined the entertainment company, Red RabbitPresents. Since then, he’s had numerous club appearancesplaying alongside Norman Doray, Hard Rock Sofa, R.L.Grime, and Richard Grey amongst others. As a resident DJfor the Opium Group, Chris currently holds a monthlyresidency at Mansion and Mokai Miami and can be heard onany given night at some of Miami’s most popular nightlifevenues, such as the “world famous” Nikki Beach Miami,WALL, SET, and Cameo to name a few.T hese days Chris is synonymous with his signature GetHouse'D brand, named after his monthly global Get House’DRadio podcast that's followed with a colossal celebration forhis fans.
