Originally from the UK south, 22:22 moved to Vancity in 2009 looking for a new take on music and life. Whilst growing up in the metal scene and playing drums and guitar in various bands since age 12, he always shared a passion for electronic music after being introduced to artists such as Squarepusher and Venetian Snares from an early age. Upon the discovery of drum and bass and then dubstep, turntables were naturally introduced and he started to pick up on his production. Now, sure to become a key part of the Vancouver bass scene, his ‘anti-button pushing’ DJ sets are not to be missed, with a selective mixture of real dubstep, dnb, bassline and glitch-hop.
